There is no justification for the presence of the gun in the scenario as described. From my pov that is. Most of the world does not consider gun rights/ownership the way you do and thus to most of us, a random (innocent) person on the streets does not carry a loaded, fire-ready gun and thus could not shoot anyone with one. Just started the first episode and I must say, I really like the setting and story, just none of the characters are even remotely likeable as human beings and all are some level of jerkass... Except the kids and the doc somehow. The identity of Mister Winston, is it supposed to be a secret? Basically, despite being assigned female at birth, areas of the brain light up during a brain scan that show the brain is wired to expect the body to have a penis, and as a result can feel sensation similar to those who have experienced the loss of a limb. Unused brain areas tend to get usurped by the surrounding areas. If the body never had a penis, the brain would never develop a "penis area".
